Francis Newport, 1st Earl of Bradford was born on 23 February 1619/20.1 He was the son of Richard Newport, 1st Baron Newport of High Ercall and Rachael Leveson. He was baptised on 12 March 1619/20 at Wroxester, Shropshire, England.
