Frederick VIII (Danish: Christian Frederik Vilhelm Carl; 3 June 1843 – 14 May 1912) was King of Denmark from 29 January 1906 until his death in 1912. The eldest son of King Christian IX, nicknamed the Father-in-law of Europe, Frederick was related to royalty throughout Europe.

Federico VIII de Dinamarca ( Copenhague, 3 de junio de 1843 - Hamburgo, 14 de mayo de 1912) fue rey de Dinamarca entre 1906 y 1912. Fue hijo de Cristián IX de Dinamarca y de su esposa Luisa de Hesse-Kassel y el segundo rey danés de la casa de Glücksburg.
Frederik VIII became king in 1906, as the second monarch from the House of Glücksburg. In 1869 he married Princess Lovisa of Sweden-Norway with whom he had eight children, of whom the eldest sons, Prince Christian (X) and Prince Carl (Haakon VII) became the kings of Denmark and Norway respectively.
