Henry III, Landgrave of Upper Hesse, called "the Rich" (15 October 1440 – 13 January 1483) was the second son of Louis I of Hesse and his wife Anna of Saxony. Upon the death of his father Louis I in 1458, Henry received Upper Hesse and his brother Louis II received Lower Hesse .
Henry I of Hesse "the Child" (German: Heinrich das Kind) (24 June 1244 – 21 December 1308) was the first Landgrave of Hesse. He was the son of Henry II, Duke of Brabant and Sophie of Thuringia.

Enrique III, landgrave de Alto Hesse, llamado "el Rico" (15 de octubre de 1440 1 - 13 de enero de 1483) fue el segundo hijo de Luis I de Hesse y su esposa Ana de Sajonia . A la muerte de su padre Luis I en 1458, Enrique recibió Alto Hesse y su hermano Luis II recibió Bajo Hesse.
