Sofía de Borbón y Ortiz (Madrid, 29 de abril de 2007) es infanta de España. Es la hija menor del rey Felipe VI y su consorte, la reina Letizia, y, como tal, es la segunda en la línea de sucesión al trono español, por detrás de su hermana mayor, la princesa Leonor.
La palabra infante es un sustantivo común de género femenino y masculino; de forma ocasional de género femenino se usa infanta; el plural es infantes e infantas. Procede del latín infans, infantis (nominativo-infante- y genitivo-del infante- de singular).
