Legnica [lɛgˈɲitsa] ⓘ /? (deutsch Liegnitz, schlesisch Liegnz oder Leeg'nz) ist eine Mittelstadt in der polnischen Woiwodschaft Niederschlesien. Die kreisfreie Stadt ist Kreisstadt des Powiat Legnicki. Bis 1945 war Liegnitz Hauptstadt des Regierungsbezirkes Liegnitz in der preußischen Provinz Schlesien.
