11 de may. de 2024 · Keyser’s sculptural masterpiece was a tomb for William the Silent in the Nieuwe Kerk Delft (1614–21). His terra-cotta busts suggest the immediacy and directness of Frans Hals’s 17th-century portraits. His son-in-law and best-known pupil was the English sculptor Nicholas Stone.

12 de may. de 2024 · Deze nieuwe kerk verrees aan de van der Mastenstraat. Pas in 1674 werd de Lutherse gemeente officieel erkend (het is onbekend welke reden voor dit late tijdstip was). Het ruimhartige gemeentebestuur schonk de 15 e eeuwse St. Joriskapel aan de (nu officiële) kerkelijke gemeente.
