La literatura del Romanticismo fue un movimiento literario anticlásico que se inició en el siglo XVIII (ca. 1770) en Alemania, Inglaterra y Francia, tomando al principio la forma de Prerromanticismo, y se dispersó y cultivó por toda Europa hasta mediados del siglo XIX.
Apariencia. ocultar. En la música, el Romanticismo fue un período que transcurrió, aproximadamente, entre los años 1810 y la primera década del siglo XX, y suele englobar toda la música escrita de acuerdo a las normas y formas de dicho período.
La naturaleza fue concebida de forma muy diferente dentro del movimiento cultural del Romanticismo con respecto al periodo histórico anterior de la Ilustración. Esta nueva concepción de la naturaleza tuvo su reflejo en el arte y la convirtió en un tema literario y pictórico recurrente para los artistas románticos.
