Thomas Osborne, 1st Duke of Leeds, KG (20 February 1632 – 26 July 1712) was an English Tory politician and peer. During the reign of Charles II of England , he was the leading figure in the English government for roughly five years in the mid-1670s.

Thomas Osborne, 1st duke of Leeds (born February 20, 1632—died July 26, 1712, Easton Neston, Northamptonshire, England) was an English statesman who, while chief minister to King Charles II, organized the Tories in Parliament. In addition, he played a key role in bringing William and Mary to the English throne in 1689.

Thomas Osborne, Earl of Danby, Marquis of Carmarthen, and Duke of Leeds was born on February 20, 1631/32, the son of Sir Edward Osborne and his wife, Anne. He spent his early years at the family estate of Kiveton in Yorkshire and succeeded his father as second baronet in 1647.
