Arturo Di Modica (Vittoria, provincia de Ragusa, Sicilia; 26 de enero de 1941-Ibidem, 19 de febrero de 2021) [1] fue un artista italoestadounidense, notorio por su escultura Charging Bull (también conocida como Toro de Wall Street), que instaló sin permisos frente a la Bolsa de Nueva York en diciembre de 1989.
Arturo Di Modica (January 26, 1941 – February 19, 2021) was an Italian sculptor, widely known for his Charging Bull sculpture. English sculptor Henry Moore nicknamed Di Modica “the young Michelangelo ” [1] after they met in Italy in the 1960s.

The sculpture was created by Italian artist Arturo Di Modica in the wake of the 1987 Black Monday stock market crash. Late in the evening of Thursday, December 14, 1989, Di Modica arrived on Wall Street with Charging Bull on the back of a truck and illegally dropped the sculpture outside of the New York Stock Exchange Building .
