Clint Mansell ( Coventry, Reino Unido, 7 de enero de 1963) es un músico y compositor británico, nominado a los Globos de Oro por su labor en las bandas sonoras de importantes filmes como Réquiem por un sueño, Doom o La fuente de la vida, entre otras. Clinton Darryl Mansell (/ ˈ m æ n s əl /; born 7 November 1963) is an English musician, singer, and composer. He served as the lead vocalist of alt-rock band Pop Will Eat Itself . After the band's dissolution, Mansell moved to the United States and embarked on a career as a film score composer.
Composer[edit] Clint Mansell, the composer of this soundtrack, is an English musician, composer, and former lead singer and guitarist of the band Pop Will Eat Itself (1996). Aronofsky, the director of the film, hired him to score his film Pi. He scored Requiem for a Dream in 2000, and all of Aronofsky's films since.

Requiem for a Dream is a 2000 American psychological drama film directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Jared Leto, Ellen Burstyn, Jennifer Connelly, Christopher McDonald, and Marlon Wayans. It is based on the 1978 novel of the same name by Hubert Selby Jr., with whom Aronofsky wrote the screenplay.
