Hilversum es un municipio neerlandés situado en la provincia de Holanda Septentrional, al noroeste de los Países Bajos. Hilversum (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦɪlvərsʏm] ⓘ) is a city and municipality in the province of North Holland, Netherlands. Located in the heart of the Gooi, it is the largest urban centre in that area. It is surrounded by heathland, woods, meadows, lakes and smaller towns.
Hilversum liegt im Gooiland, einem Gebiet mit Heide, Wald, Wiesen und kleinen Seen. Die Stadt ist 30 km südöstlich von Amsterdam und 25 km nördlich von Utrecht gelegen. Sie hat drei Bahnstationen: Hilversum Noord, Hilversum (beide an der Linie Amsterdam – Amersfoort) und Hilversum Sportpark an der Strecke nach Lunetten.
