Joel Martin Flaum (born November 26, 1936) is a senior United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and a former United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Joel Martin Flaum is a federal judge on senior status with the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. He joined the court in 1983 after being nominated by President Ronald Reagan. He assumed senior status on November 30, 2020.

Joel Martin Flaum (born November 26, 1936) is a United States federal judge. [1] Born in Hudson, New York, Flaum received a B.A. from Union College in 1958, a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 1963, and an LL.M. from Northwestern University School of Law in 1964.
