Biographie. Lana Parrilla est née d'une mère italienne artiste-peintre Dolorès Dee Azzara et d'un père portoricain, Sam Parrilla. Ce dernier fut un joueur professionnel de baseball américain évoluant dans l'équipe des Phillies de Philadelphie dans les années 1970. Il est assassiné en 1994 à la suite d'une altercation qui a mal tourné.
