Steve Nardelli. Stephen Louis Nardelli (born 10 April 1948 in London) founded the Syn in 1966 with Chris Squire, Martyn Adelman and others. In 1968, Nardelli left the band for a business career in the fashion and sports industries before reforming the band in 2003 with Adelman and Peter Banks.

In 2003, 36 years after disbanding the band, Adelman, Nardelli and Banks started to plan a reunion. In 2005 the lineup formed by Paul Stacey (guitars), Gerard Johnson (keyboards), Steve Nardelli (vocals), Jeremy Stacey (drums) and Chris Squire (bass, backing vocals) released the first studio album of the band "Syndestructible".

His post will be assumed by Timothy Groves, former development officer at the R.I. Foundation. Nardelli has had a long career in Rhode Island education circles, serving as a public school teacher and coach.
