Temoc / ˈtiːˌmɒk / (/tēˌmäk/) is the official mascot of The University of Texas at Dallas, while the student body is known collectively as the Comets. [1] . He is an anthropomorphic astronomical being created to represent a " comet in a human form". [2] .
