Holley Performance Products is an automotive performance company based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It was founded in 1896 in Bradford, Pennsylvania, by George Holley and Earl Holley. When the company was based in Michigan it was a major producer of carburetors for many Detroit-built automobiles.

16 de jul. de 2017 · The 1950s saw the introduction of the Holley Series 4150 4-barrel on the 1957 Thunderbird. It was the beginning of the modular Holley 4-barrel, as we know it today. It was the first true performance carburetor and it became standard equipment on many high-performance automobiles.
4 de oct. de 2021 · This is the idle circuit of the Holley 1940 1 barrel carburetor. The idle circuit begins at the main jet, through which fuel enters the idle well. The fuel level is controlled by the float system and anytime the throttle plate is in closed or almost closed, fuel is drawn through the idle tube from the idle well.

When gas is coming out of the top of the carburetor, or from the throttle shaft end, then that is flooding.
