20 de may. de 2024 · Kaufman on how Ed Wood is portrayed in film. Nicolas Cage in ‘Adaptation’ vibes, haha. Would love to see someone like Kaufman tackle a proper adaptation of Nightmare of Ecstasy (well worth a read if you're interested in Wood) that doesn't shy away the sadness and failure of Wood's life.

Each man is tortured by this dream, but the dream gives meaning to his life. Even if the dream ruins his life, man cannot allow himself to leave it behind. In this world, is man ever able to possess anything more solid, than a dream?"
