G.I. Joe: Retaliation is a 2013 American military science fiction action film based on the G.I. Joe toy line. It is the second installment in the G.I. Joe film series and the sequel to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009).
Synopsis. The US military receives intel that the President of Pakistan is dead, and their nuclear arsenal is at risk of falling into the hands of terrorists. The Joes are assigned to secure nuclear warheads from Pakistan by Zartan (Arnold Vosloo) who is impersonating the President of the United States (Jonathan Pryce).
