The title is a play on Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde from the Robert Louis Stevenson story Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Sylvester is chased by Alf and Chesterinto the lab of Dr. Jerkyl. The cat is subjected to Dr. Jerkyl's potion that transforms him into a giant wildcat monster that claws Alfie into pieces, before reverting into Sylvester just as Chester comes and notices Alf is in fear.
