Website. www .udk-berlin .de. The Universität der Künste Berlin ( UdK; also known in English as the Berlin University of the Arts ), situated in Berlin, Germany, is the largest art school in Europe. It is a public art and design school, and one of the four research universities in the city.
The UdK Berlin is renowned for its comprehensive range of arts programmes, covering disciplines such as fine arts, design, music and performing arts. The university's four colleges offer more than 70 courses, allowing students to specialise in their chosen field while encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration.
From 2011 to 2018 the Graduate School of the Berlin University of the Arts was funded by the Einstein Foundation Berlin as a postgraduate and international qualification program. The Graduate School is part of the Berlin Centre for Advanced Studies in Arts and Sciences (BAS).
