CUNY Brooklyn College partnership. Midwood High School is the affiliated campus high school of Brooklyn College, a partnership which began with the 1984–85 academic year. It was one of the earliest New York City public high schools to partner a four-year college in the City College of New York (CUNY) system. [11]

History of the School. In 1939, New York City broke ground for Midwood High School across from the recently opened Brooklyn College campus. The school structure was designed by architect Eric Kebbon, the Superintendent of School Buildings, Design and Construction of the Board of Education.
Mission Statement. Midwood High School is a comprehensive high school located in the center of Brooklyn. The school enrolls approximately 4,000 students and is comprised of three main programs: Medical Science, Humanities, and Liberal Arts. We provide rigorous college preparatory instruction combined with the arts, sports and clubs.
