The character of Wolffe was created for the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series. First given a short entry in the 2008 Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The Visual Guide publication, Wolffe made his debut in the episode "Rising Malevolence," which aired in the series' October 2, 2008 premiere.
