Luther Lee Bernard (October 29, 1881 – January 23, 1951) was an American sociologist and psychologist. He was the 22nd President of the American Sociological Association (for the year 1932).

The sociologist Luther Lee Bernard (29 Oct. 1881-23 Jan. 1951) was born in Russell County, Kentucky to the farmer Hiram H. Bernard and his wife Julia Wilson. Hiram H. Bernard, a former Union solider treated Luther tyrannically and that led to a bitter and antagonistic relationship between them.
