Since 1964, The Miami Valley School has been a unique educational option for Dayton-area families, educating generations of students who have gone on to achieve distinction in their fields. The lower school academic program is distinguished by several multidisciplinary learning opportunities, including the second grade Coral Reef Deep Dive, third grade Astronomy Overnight, and fifth grade Colonial America Experience.
MVS offers a wide range of athletic programs for boys and girls, including 16 varsity teams in 8 sports. If MVS does not sponsor a given sport, students are eligible to participate in that sport through their public school district. For more information, see the OHSAA website.
