The population was 10,959 at the 2020 United States census over 10,877 at the 2010 census. It serves as a significant historic site along the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route.

It is a suburban town about 40 minutes from New York City by car. There is also a train to New York. The village has more than 10,000 people, [1] who live in an area of 3.1 square miles. There are approximately 2,500 families living in Mount Kisco.
Mount Kisco station is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem Line, located in Mount Kisco, New York, United States. The station is located adjacent to downtown Mount Kisco. The old train station building still exists, but no longer serves the railroad.
Mount Kisco Municipal Complex is a national historic district located at Mount Kisco, Westchester County, New York. The district contains two contributing buildings; the Mount Kisco Town and Village Hall (1932) and the United States Post Office (1936).
