On 2 June 1948, Kulikovsky, Olga, Tikhon and his Danish-born wife Agnete, Guri and his Danish-born wife Ruth, Guri and Ruth's two children, Xenia and Leonid, and Olga's companion and former maid Emilia Tenso ("Mimka") departed Liverpool on board the Empress of Canada.
Olga Kulikovsky (1926-2020) was the third wife of Tikhon Nikolaevich Kulikovsky, son of Grand Duchess Olga. She married him in 1986, some 6 years before his death in 1993. Olga Kulikovsky reposed in the Lord on 2 May, 2020.

On 2 June, 1948, Olga and Nikolai Kulikovsky, Tikhon and his Danish-born wife Agnete, Guriy and his Danish-born wife Ruth, Guriy and Ruth's 2 children, Xenia and Leonid, and Olga’s devoted companion and former Lady-in-Waiting, Emilia Tenso (“Mimka”), departed from Liverpool aboard the Empress of Canada.
In 1903, Kulikovsky met Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna at a military parade, and from then on, the couple drew closer, despite the fact that Grand Duchess Olga was already (unhappily) married to her cousin Duke Peter of Oldenburg. In 1906, Kulikovsky was appointed the Duke of Oldenburg’s aide, and their relationship became a decorous open secret.

During the 1990s, Olga Kulikovsky travelled to Russia, taking the watercolours and other items with her. She toured the country, hosting numerous exhibits of her mother-in-laws paintings to Russians for the first time.
