Ostend (Dutch: Oostende, pronounced [ˌoːstˈɛndə] ⓘ; French: Ostende; German: Ostende [ɔstˈʔɛndə]; West Flemish: Ostende) is a coastal city and municipality, located in the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium.

- Ver la Catedral de Ostende. Un lugar imprescindible de ver en Ostende es su preciosa catedral, dedicada a San Pedro y San Pablo. Posiblemente se trata del edificio más importante de la ciudad, construido en estilo neogótico en el lugar donde se encontraba un anterior templo del siglo XVI que fue destruido en un incendio.
- Fuerte de Napoleón. Esta fortaleza con forma de pentágono fue construida por Napoleón Bonaparte a principios del siglo XIX, en 1810, siendo ocupada y utilizada en numerosas ocasiones.
- Ver el puerto de Ostende. Este puerto está considerado el segundo más importante de Bélgica y uno de los principales del norte de Europa. El puerto que se puede ver en Ostende cuenta con unas preciosas vistas del mar y se encuentra situado justo enfrente del centro de la ciudad, cerca de la zona más turística.
- Leopoldpark. Se pueden visitar en Ostende un buen número de parques y zonas verdes. Es posible que el más importante y bonito de todos sea el Leopolpark, terminado por Louis Fuchs a principios del siglo XX.
