Otherworld Comedy, also known as Isekai Ōgiri (異世界大喜利, Isekai Ōgiri?), was a monthly series of wallpapers containing a what-if story involving an established character from the Sonic series alongside another chosen by the community, released in 2023. They were written by Eitaro Toyoda and illustrated by Tomoko Hayane. They were released exclusively in Japanese.

•Despite the comic being of Japanese origin, it is read sequentially from left to right, similar to a Western comic book.
•The 2023 Calendar stories feature seven characters with chaos emeralds which are all disguised as accessories.
•Shadow has the green emerald which is hidden in his microphone.
•Silver has the blue emerald as a pendant. It is used in both his April (where he allowed Elise to borrow it) and August stories.
•Vector has the cyan emerald as part of his belt.
•Tails has the yellow emerald as a tiara.
•Blaze has the purple emerald as part of the bow on the back of her dress. It is noted she was given this by Amy.
