Over time, these spaces transformed into the Headmaster’s office, reception area, and eventually additional boarding house recreation space due to the closure of another boarding house in 2019. This brief journey through the vestibule and reception highlights the evolution of Queen’s College.
Queen’s College has a vibrant and growing boarding establishments. Our three renovated hostels, Whitson, Athlone and Connaught, feature proudly on our campus. Bisset Hall, our freshly revamped and upgraded communal dining hall and kitchen, is a real feel-good show-off.
Full Boarding and Flexi-Boarding. Flexi-boarding offers the best of both worlds: nurturing independence while providing a warm, home-from-home feel. Choose specific nights throughout the term to stay in comfortable boarding houses, enjoying fun sleepovers with friends with delicious dinners and breakfasts.
Queen’s College has a long-standing reputation for educating children from military families and is delighted to offer a Service Family Package to run alongside the MOD’s Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA). The offer means families in receipt of CEA pay just 10% of boarding fee, all meals, laundry and local trips are included in this fee.
