Molecules (ISSN 1420-3049, CODEN: MOLEFW) provides an advanced forum for science of chemistry and all interfacing disciplines. Our aim is to provide rigorous peer review and enable rapid publication of cutting-edge research to educate and inspire the scientific community worldwide.
Molecules can publish multimedia files in articles or as supplementary materials. Please contact the editorial office for further information. All Figures, Schemes and Tables should be inserted into the main text close to their first citation and must be numbered following their number of appearance (Figure 1, Scheme 1, Figure 2, Scheme 2, Table 1, etc.).

Molecules is a peer-reviewed open access scientific journal that focuses on all aspects of chemistry and materials science. It was established in March 1996 and is published monthly by MDPI . From 1997 to 2001, Molbank was published as a section of the journal, before splitting into its own journal.

This purpose of this Special Issue is to collect high-quality original research and review articles in all areas of interest covered by Molecules.
