Wesley College was a private liberal arts college in Dover, Delaware. It was acquired by Delaware State University (DSU) in 2021 and is now the DSU Downtown campus.
Wesley College first began as an academic brainchild of the Wilmington Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, which established the Wilmington Conference Academy in Dover, Del., and first opened on Sept. 1, 1873.

1 de jul. de 2021 · DSU says it’s the first HBCU in the country to acquire another institution of higher education. The deal announced last year became official Thursday, funded with help from millions in donations from private organizations, as well as infusions from the federal government.
Wesley College hosts 30 bachelor’s programs, four associate’s selections, and five master’s programs. Students at Wesley College have access to a wealth of academic resources including a writing and tutoring center and a career development facility.
1 de jul. de 2021 · The Wesley College acquisition gives Delaware State a bigger presence in downtown Dover, not far from DSU’s main campus along Route 13 in the state capital. DSU will inherit 50 acres, 21 buildings, and 14 academic programs.
1 de jul. de 2021 · What was Wesley College, a 148-year-old private institution affiliated with the United Methodist Church, is now the Wesley College of Health & Behavioral Sciences within Delaware State. The college will offer programs in allied/public health, kinesiology, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology and social work.
