Choate provides pro bono legal services to enable individuals in underserved communities access to justice, to provide nonprofit organizations the tools they need to effect change, and support the economic development of communities in need.
The purpose of the Community Service Club (CSC) shall be to provide Choate students with ample opportunities to demonstrate leadership, community engagement, and service for others in and around Wallingford.
Service to others supports the mission and values of our School by facilitating personal growth, increasing global awareness, and promoting inclusive communities. The goal of our community service program is to inspire and empower all Choate students to positively impact local and global communities through outreach and local engagement.

12 de feb. de 2021 · February 12, 2021 by Brian Harder '23. Community Service Goes Virtual: A New Normal? Covid-19 and the resulting social-distancing limitations have drastically changed the face of volunteering. Although some projects have shifted online, others are simply no longer possible.
Through experiential learning and reflection, the Community Service program helps individuals at our school build character, develop moral foundations, and nurture a lifelong commitment to service. As an able community, we strive to acknowledge and implement our global responsibilities towards understanding and helping others.
