DC. Dinah Drake Lance is the Black Canary, a vigilante with the distinctive sonic scream superpower known as the Canary Cry, which she uses to fight crime with the Birds of Prey and Green Arrow.
The second Black Canary, Dinah Laurel Lance, was created by Dennis O'Neil and Dick Dillin, first appearing in Justice League of America #219 (October, 1983).
