Para Abbey Road (1969) aportó dos de sus mejores composiciones: Here comes the sun y Something, el primer single de los Beatles no firmado por Lennon-McCartney, que fue número uno en ventas en Estados Unidos. Poco después de la separación oficial de la banda, publicó el triple All things must pass (1970), con material acumulado durante años.
A pesar de publicar con anterioridad una banda sonora instrumental, Wonderwall Music (1968), y un disco experimental, Electronic Sound (1969), el propio Harrison consideró All Things Must Pass como su primer disco en solitario.

Electronic Sound is the second studio album by the English rock musician George Harrison. Released in May 1969, it was the last of two LPs issued on the Beatles' short-lived Zapple record label, a subsidiary of Apple Records that specialised in the avant-garde.
