A selection of UCLA Department of Art courses are offered to Art majors, non-majors and students from other institutions, during summer terms. The Department of Art is a part of the School of the Arts and Architecture at the University of California, Los Angeles.
ArtCenter offers 11 undergraduate and 10 graduate degrees in a wide array of industrial design, visual and applied arts disciplines, as well as minors for undergraduate students in Business, Creative Writing, Material Science, Research, and Social Innovation.
The Department of Art offers professional art training that emphasizes experimentation and encourages students to draw from many disciplines in their creative process. A faculty of internationally recognized artists and theoreticians guide students in exploring contemporary studio practice.
