Sunday's Desolation is a mod created by GusDeGreat & (formerly) Ragnaroswar. It is another fan made take on D-Sides Oswald that was originally a mod based on scrapped Saturday's Fatality, formerly called Saturday's Fatality: Scrapped Tapes, before turning into it's own unique mod. V2 coming soon...
Oswald awoke one morning to discover himself in an unfamiliar setting. The world around him appeared devoid of color, with only shades of black and white. He found himself residing in a dilapidated cabin, furnished with a bed, his banjo, a revolver on a nearby table, and a basic kitchen equipped with shelves, silverware, pots, and pans. This description is provided to offer a clearer depiction of the place in the cutscenes. The exterior of the cabin consisted of a barren field, enclosed by a fence, with a few lamp posts scattered about, and a forest visible in the distance. Oswald was completely alone, with no signs of anyone other than himself. Haunted by memories of his past, Oswald couldn't help but reminisce about the vibrant blue sky, his friends, his beloved Ortensia and bunny children, and the joyous moments they shared. He often dreamt of reuniting with them, only to have those dreams abruptly cut short during the happiest moments. As time passed, Oswald came to the realization that there was no escape from this place. He was unable to age, unable to forget the majority of his past life, and most distressingly, unable to break free from the confines of this unfamiliar realm he had been thrust into. Suddenly, Oswald's world began to shift, breaking free from its static and unchanging state.
His dreams were now tinged with a pinkish hue, and he found himself forgetting what any color other than that looked like. Faint whispers could be heard in the distance. Were they emanating from the forest? Or perhaps from the field? Oswald made numerous attempts to locate the source of these whispers, yearning for someone to talk to, but his efforts proved futile. There was no one present besides himself... or so he believed. Eventually, Oswald concluded that these auditory experiences were mere hallucinations, a result of his prolonged isolation, and he tried his best to dismiss them. After an indeterminate amount of time, which he had long ceased to keep track of, Oswald became determined to find an escape from this new world and liberate himself from the mental torment he endured. Seizing the loaded revolver that lay unexpectedly beside his bed, he ventured outside for what would be his final time, ready to set his plan into motion.
