University Health Services (UHS) is the on-campus health care center of UMass Amherst, serving UMass students, faculty, and staff, and their domestic partners, spouses and dependent children. We are open 7 days a week during the academic semester, and Monday-Friday during intersession.
University Health Services' mission is to provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse population of UMass Amherst constituents and promote campus health in the broadest sense. We commit to the holistic integration of a multitude of campus services promoting health in educational and residential environments.

After hours during the academic year: Sat/Sun/Holidays 11:00am-5:00pm (*Lab and X-ray are open 11:00 am -4:30 pm) Weekday: 5:00pm-8:00pm (X-ray is open Mon-Thursday until 6:30, Friday until 5:30 pm. Lab is open Mon-Fri until 6:00pm - last draw is 5:30pm)
After hours, if you want to speak with a nurse about a health question, or if you need health advice, please call (413) 577-5000 to reach our clinical answering service. A UHS provider is on-call at all times.
