Nightcrawler is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men. Created by writer Len Wein and artist Dave Cockrum, he debuted in the comic book Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975).
Biography. Born in Bavaria to the blue-skinned shapeshifting mutant later known as Mystique, Kurt Wagner was shunned at birth due to his having blue skin, pointed ears, fangs, and a long pointed tail.

Kurt Wagner is a demonic-looking mutant with teleporting abilities, being known as the soft-hearted X-Man Nightcrawler. He was the secret child of the mutant precog Destiny and the shapeshifting terrorist Mystique, who used the Neyaphem leader Azazel as a genetic template.

1 de sept. de 2023 · Over the years Nightcrawler has been given different angles on his exact origin. The general idea was that Nightcrawler, born blue and demonic-looking, was chased out of his hometown in Germany and later joined a Bavarian circus.
Nightcrawler's origin is located in Bavaria, but the exact location seems to change with every incarnation. In the comics, he comes from a small village called Winzeldorf , and in the X-Men animated series, it is Neuherzl.
