Yo-Yo Ma (en chino tradicional: 馬友友; en chino simplificado: 马友友; en pinyin: Mǎ Yǒuyǒu) ( París, 7 de octubre de 1955) es un violonchelista y multinstrumentista franco-estadounidense de origen chino. Yo-Yo Ma (born October 7, 1955) is an American cellist. Born and partially raised in Paris to Chinese parents and educated in New York City, he was a child prodigy, performing from the age of four and a half.

He began to study the cello with his father at age four and three years later moved with his family to New York City, where he continued his cello studies at the Juilliard School before pursuing a liberal arts education at Harvard.
