Bill Nighy (born 12 December 1949) is an English actor, who portrayed Rufus Scrimgeour in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.[2] In July 2009, Bill Nighy announced that he got the role of Rufus Scrimgeour.
In July 2009, he announced that he would play Rufus Scrimgeour in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. Nighy had already worked with director David Yates twice, and with the majority of the Harry Potter cast in previous films.
