Carlos I (Dunfermline, 19 de novembro de 1600 – Londres, 30 de janeiro de 1649) foi o Rei da Inglaterra, Escócia e Irlanda de 1625 até sua execução. Ele nasceu na Escócia como o segundo filho do rei Jaime VI da Escócia e sua esposa Ana da Dinamarca, porém seu pai herdou a coroa inglesa em 1603 e Carlos se mudou para a Inglaterra, onde passou a maior parte de sua vida.
