CLC Sequence Viewer is a free, user friendly application offering access to basic bioinformatics analyses. It can also be used to view some of the analysis outputs of CLC commercial workbenches, with the exceptions of some more advanced data types, such as track-based data, and data stored on a CLC Genomics Server.

The history of a data element can now be exported as a CSV format file.Fixed an issue where data exported with gzip or zip compression did not have the .gz or .zip suffix appended to the filename when earlier exports had been made with the same name and export locatio...The GCG sequence exporter has been removed. The GCG alignment exporter is unaffected by these changes.HTML formatting tags are now removed during export of data to Excel .xlsx or .xls format. QIAGEN CLC Main Workbench is used by tens of thousands of researchers all over the world for DNA, RNA and protein sequence data analysis. Its wide variety of features are presented in an intuitive graphical user-interface, for which advanced computer skills are not required.
CLC Sequence Viewer supports the use of a HTTP-proxy and an anonymous SOCKS-proxy. To configure your proxy settings, open CLC Sequence Viewer, and go to the Advanced-tab of the Preferences dialog (figure1.6) and enter the appropriate information. The Preferences dialog is opened from the Edit menu.
