Cooper Union Architecture Archive. The Student. Work Collection. An archive of student design projects dating from the 1930’s through the present. This material documents over 4,000 student projects spanning more than eight decades of architectural pedagogy at The Cooper Union.
The Archive coordinates, designs, curates, and installs exhibitions presented by the School of Architecture. These exhibitions are thematically tied to the School’s educational objectives, bridging pedagogy and public service by enriching Cooper Union’s curriculum and serving New York City’s local and regional design community.
The Internet Archive. As of spring 2021, The Cooper Union Archives & Special Collections has begun digitizing materials and publishing them on the Internet Archive to assist our remote researchers. This collection currently includes a selection of yearbooks, student publications, commencement addresses, annual reports, and writing by Peter Cooper.
This collection contains annual reports authored variously by The Cooper Union's Board of Trustees, the Director of The Cooper Union, and the President of The Cooper Union. Dates: 1860-2010; missing: 1863, 1865, 1867, 1869, 1870, 1880, 1926-1938, 1962-1970. Found in: The Cooper Union Archives & Special Collections.
