Jason Ferus Blum ( / b l ʌ m / ; [1] nacido el 20 de febrero de 1969) [2] es un productor de cine y televisión estadounidense. Es el fundador y director ejecutivo de Blumhouse Productions , que produjo las franquicias de terror Paranormal Activity (2007-2021), Insidious (2010-2023) y The Purge (2013-2021).
Jason Ferus Blum (/ b l ʌ m /; born February 20, 1969) is an American filmmaker. He is founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions, which produced the horror franchises Paranormal Activity (2007–2021), Insidious (2010–2023), The Purge (2013–2021), and Halloween (2018-2022).
Blum has produced over 75 films and TV series throughout his career. His credits also include: The Reader, for which Kate Winslet won an Academy Award; Hysterical Blindness, starring Uma Thurman, which aired on HBO and garnered Thurman a Golden Globe Award; and Hamlet starring Ethan Hawke, Bill Murray, Sam Shepard and Kyle MacLachlan.
