Königsberg ( pronunciado /ˈkøːnɪçsˌbɛɐ̯k/ ⓘ) ( Keenigsbarg en bajo prusiano) fue la capital de Prusia Oriental desde la Baja Edad Media hasta 1945, cuando fue tomada por los soviéticos y renombrada como Kaliningrado, capital del actual óblast de Kaliningrado.
Kaliningrado fue una de las principales bases navales soviéticas del Mar Báltico, junto con Riga y la isla de Kronstadt. Tras la disolución de la Unión Soviética y la independencia de Lituania en 1991, el territorio quedó bajo soberanía rusa y separado del resto de Rusia.

Königsberg was a port city on the south eastern corner of the Baltic Sea. It is today known as Kaliningrad and is part of Russia.
