13 de jun. de 2015 · This is the complete unedited recording of the concert given on January 16, 1958 by tenor Mario Lanza, with Maestro Constantine Callinicos at the piano. The concert took place at London's Royal Albert Hall. There were over 8000 people in attendance.
A raíz de un concierto en el Hollywood Bowl su talento llamó la atención del ejecutivo y fundador de la cinematográfica MGM ( Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer ), Louis B. Mayer, quien hizo firmar a Lanza un contrato cinematográfico de siete años de duración.

The 1958 Tour. Royal Albert Hall, Jan 16 1958. In January 1958, Lanza embarked on his final tour, performing 22 recitals in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. (Coincidentally, he had also performed 22 recitals on his previous tour in 1951.)
