Platoon is about the Vietnam War 1967. Student Chris Taylor is voluntary for the war in the jungle, but fast he realizes that there’s also war on the American side: between the brutal Seargeant Barnes (Tom Berenger) and Seargeant Elias (Willem Dafoe), who stayed human after all those bloody fights, which makes Barnes kill Elias.
