Mickey has gray hair in old age, but in young age, he has brown hair in Mighty Mick’s Gym poster and green eyes.
Michael "Mickey" Goldmill was the owner of Mighty Mick's Boxing and head Trainer of Rocky Balboa for most of Balboa's career. Goldmill is most likely based on legendary boxing trainer Cus D'amato.
Mickey is a playable character in the Rocky video game (through use of a cheat code), where he is Rocky's manager for the Rocky I, Rocky II and Rocky III timelines. Before the bout with Clubber Lan...Burgess Meredith reprised the role in Rocky V and archival footage was used for Rocky IV and Rocky Balboa.Mickey may be based off Charley Goldman. Both were bantamweights, had Jewish ancestry, and have similar sounding names. In addition, Charley was the boxing trainer of Rocky Marciano, whom Rocky Bal...Mickey Goldmill is a fictional character created by Sylvester Stallone and portrayed by Burgess Meredith in the Rocky film series. Meredith was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the first film, as was his co-star Burt Young.
Rocky at first seems unaffected by Apollo's smear campaign, but his inexperience with money causes him to run into financial problems. After several unsuccessful attempts to find employment, Rocky visits Mickey Goldmill, his trainer and manager, at his gym to talk about the possibility of fighting again.
