Spreader grafts are commonly placed preventively in rhinoplasty procedures, such as nasal hump reduction, and for the treatment of nasal obstruction. Placement of spreader grafts is a relatively simple task and has been the preferred method of internal nasal valve reconstruction since the 1980s.

Study Selection
Figure 1 shows the PRISMA flow diagram for the study selection process at different stages. A total 356 papers were obtained through the first search. After the removal of 23 duplicate papers, 333 remained for which title and abstract were assessed for eligibility. A total 309 papers were irrelevant to our article. Study Characteristics
