Crashed stars are rocks that play a central role in the Shooting Stars Distraction and Diversion. They can be mined to obtain stardust, which can be traded for rewards at Dusuri's Star Shop. The stars can be mined on free-to-play worlds as well but only grant half the experience given on Members' worlds.
Fun facts about stars: from 87-99 mining it'll take around 500k-600k stardust give or take.600k stardust = 80k uncut gems, and about 55m gp. 600k stardust also = about a 1/500 chance at an uncut onyx. Photo: I just hit 96 mining (started at 87), and have only done stars.
